For over 120 years, F&M Bank has been more than just a bank — we’ve been a part of the communities we serve. Originally founded in 1902 as Farmers & Merchants Bank, our roots run deep in Oklahoma soil. In 1972, the late Mr. J.V. Anderson — a Citizen Potawatomi Nation tribal member who believed success was based on strong relationships, integrity, and service to others — purchased the bank and later renamed it F&M Bank.
That simple, powerful belief still guides us today.
Now led by the second and third generation of the Anderson family, we remain proudly family-owned and community-focused. We believe in showing up for our neighbors, supporting local growth, and building relationships that last.
With eleven branch locations across Central Oklahoma, two Mortgage Offices and a Loan Production Office, F&M Bank offers the strength and stability of a long-standing institution combined with the personal attention only a community bank can provide. Relationships come first, and customers are treated as neighbors—not account numbers.
At F&M Bank, community isn’t a strategy — it’s who we are.
